The purpose is to prequalify multiple contractors to provide emergency, critical preventative maintenance, planned, and/or as needed on-call construction services for water and wastewater system projects within the service area. Typical projects may include pipeline installation and rehabilitation, such as new construction, slip lining, cured-in-place pipe, point repair, and/or replacement of small and large diameter interceptor sewer lines, repair and/or replacement of small and large diameter water lines, fire hydrants, concrete (formed or pre-cast) meter and valve vaults, temporary service connections, valves, manhole replacement or rehabilitation, bypass pumping, and other related work. Plant and facilities projects may be at various specified locations and may include equipment removal and replacement (pumps, blowers, mixers, compressors, clarifier mechanisms, ozone generators, chemical feed systems, biological process equipment, material handling systems), and related concrete, piping, mechanical, plumbing, structural, electrical, instrumentation, yard piping, site, drainage, and related work.
