The project involves work at three separate buildings for the Fox River Water Reclamation District: Main Control Building (Building C), North Sewage Treatment Plant, 777 Cliford Avenue, Elgin, IL 60123: Includes interior renovations and a 550 SF addition for Break Room, Training Area, and Kitchenette, as well as associated site improvements. Administration Office Building (1950) (Building D), Dana Drive, Elgin, IL 60123: Includes interior renovations and a 585 SF addition for a new Break/Training Room and Locker Room areas, along with associated site improvements. Administrative Office Building (Building E), 1957 N La Fox Street, South Elgin, IL 60177: Includes interior renovations and a 3,945 SF addition for new Offices, Training Room, Workspaces, and Board Room, and associated site improvements. Prospective bidders must contact Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list and will be granted access to SmartBid to download drawings for free. All interested bidders must use SmartBid for the entire bidding process. Contractors must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporated’s office by 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 6, 2025. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is required with the Bid Form. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the contract award. The successful bidder is required to pay Prevailing Wage under this Contract and submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). All contractors must comply with all requirements of the Fox River Water Reclamation District Ordinance No. 966, providing related documentation before or at bid submission. Failure to submit these documents may result in bid rejection. The Fox River Water Reclamation District Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. This project is tax-exempt.
