Sealed bids are invited for street resurfacing. Bids must be properly and completely executed with form 96 and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for at least 10 percent of the bid amount, payable to the Town. Bid bonds must be from a surety company qualified to do business in Indiana. Certified checks or bid bonds of unsuccessful bidders will be returned after a successful bidder is selected. Award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Specifications and bidder information can be obtained from the Clerk-Treasurer's office. Bids, bid bonds or certified checks, and a non-collusion affidavit must be securely sealed in an envelope and clearly marked. The successful bidder must provide liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 during the performance of services. No bid may be withdrawn within 30 days following the bid receipt date. The Town reserves the right to hold, waive informalities, and award the bid in whole or part to the advantage of the Town.
