Expansion and renovations of the City Fire Hall 1. The scope of the project includes construction of an addition that will house an additional garage place for one fire truck, a training room a decontamination/cleaning room pour special equipment, a storage room for combat clothes and nautical equipment, a breathable air room, a concierge room, a mechanical/electrical/servers room, a workshop area. The project also includes interior and exterior modifications to the building and the site. TIMELINE: The project is preliminary and is included in the City three-year capital expenditure plan for 2026-2028 with development starting in 2026. Scope of work and timelines of the project development are being finalized. Further update in spring/summer 2026.
