The work involves the provision of delineator post and mounting kits for Baldwin County. All materials shall comply with Division 800 of the Alabama Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2022 Edition, and any applicable ALDOT Special Provisions. All unit prices must include delivery fees to the Baldwin County facility. The county reserves the right to purchase any or all items bid in various quantities as needed. The intent is to award the contract to one bidder for a twelve-month period with the option to renew for up to two additional years in twelve-month increments. The prices and conditions will remain the same for any contract extension periods. The bid amount must include all applicable charges, including delivery. Manufacturer test reports may be required. For surface mount bases and anchor kits, specific hardware and product descriptions are required. Exceptions and additional features may be listed by the bidder in the response. All bids must be submitted in ink, with original forms and required paperwork included in a sealed envelope marked as specified. Bidders must comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, and supply proof of proper certification and registration to transact business in Alabama. If the total proposed bid amount exceeds $10,000, a bid guarantee of at least 5% of the amount, not exceeding $10,000, must be submitted. DBE-qualified bidders must provide supporting documentation. Vendors must also submit a Federal Certification Regarding Lobbying with their bid response.
