This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville ("the Counties") to prospective proponents to submit proposals the design and construction of a child care facility at Maple View Lodge, Athens, Ontario. The design will include spaces for: 6 Infant spaces 15 Toddler spaces 24 Preschool spaces 15 Family Age Grouping spaces 15 Primary/Junior spaces Kitchen Office Staff Room Washroom facilities Storage Outdoor space Question Deadline: Wed Jan 21, 2026 3:00:00 PM (EST) Site visit Meeting Location : 746 County Rd 42, Athens ON, K0E 1B0 Site visit description: Proponents are required to attend the site visit to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions of the facility and associated outdoor areas. The site visit will include a guided tour of the interior spaces and the outdoor play area, and will provide proponents with the opportunity to review existing building conditions, access points, spatial constraints, utilities, and any site-specific considerations that may affect design development, construction methodology, scheduling, or cost. Attendance at the site visit shall be for information purposes only. Proponents are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and shall be deemed to have examined the site and surrounding conditions, including access, staging, existing services, and constraints, when preparing their proposal. No interpretations, representations, or clarifications provided during the site visit shall be binding unless subsequently issued in writing by the Owner through an addendum to the RFP.
