Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Goldendale, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
This contract provides for the construction of a 10,000 square foot Training Facility and development of lot 17. The specific work includes, but is not limited to, concrete foundation, building construction, excavation, utilities, base/top course, HMA roadway, all in accordance with the Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. Bid envelopes are to be marked with the project information. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into the contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the stated time, the bid deposit will be forfeited. The estimated project cost is between $2,300,000 and $3,500,000. Free access to plans, specifications, addenda, bidder's list, and plan holders list is available online through Klickitat County's plan room. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
