Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to complete the Project that includes furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials as required by the specifications for the following reservoirs: (The dimensions are approximate only and shall be field verified by the Contractor prior to bidding.) Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bid bond in favor of the District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted total bid price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the District with a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to execution of the contract. All bonds are to be secured from a surety that meets all of the State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and is admitted by the State of California. All technical questions may be submitted to the Project Manager in e-mail and in writing. Last date to submit questions is July 7 th . No questions will be answered within 72 hours of the bid opening. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical errors, discrepancies or informalities of a bid not affected by law, if to do so seems to best serve the public interest.
