Renovation of a multi-residential development in Somerville, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The project consists of the replacement of FPE panelboards and transformers with new ones, as well as repair of ground fault protection at the main switchboard at the Bryant Manor Development for the Somerville Housing Authority in Somerville, Massachusetts. Bids must be prepared and submitted online at www.Projectdog.com. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of Electrical. Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the specified trades and must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder's Update Statement. Subtrades include Section 23.00.00 HVAC. General bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than five percent of the greatest possible bid amount, made payable to the Somerville Housing Authority. Bid Forms and Contract Documents are available for purchase online. Bidders requesting mailed documents must include a check for mailing costs. The existing building is available for observation by appointment. Oral interpretations at the site inspection are non-binding. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Designer prior to the stated deadline. The Somerville Housing Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.
