The project will consist of construction of the following work: Reclaimed water pump station Sitework, piping, and appurtenances for a 2.0 MG elevated water storage tank Wastewater Pump Station No. 2 upgrade 600,000-gallon equalization tank Post aeration improvements Parshall flume Electrical and chemical building Parking improvements Force main piping Reclaimed water piping (onsite and offsite) Electrical improvements Pump Station No. 2 electrical building SCADA improvements Site improvements Equalization electrical building Related incidental work The Town will award the contract on a lump sum bid basis. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid. Bidders must be licensed as Contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia (1950) as amended. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Bid for failure to comply with all requirements of this Notice or any of the Contract Documents; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its sole and unfettered discretion. The Owner further reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to Award the contract which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Owner.
