Remodeling of a library in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the remodel of a library.
Forsyth County is seeking sealed proposals for the upfit of the Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center Branch Library. The scope of work includes giving the facility a modern day look with upgrades such as new carpet, paint, and technology. The contractor must have experience and qualifications in demolition and asbestos abatement as required by the consulting architect. Bidders are required to carefully read and understand all bidding documents, which include the bid document and the drawings. The prime contractor must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes. Interested bidders are required to reach out directly to the Owner to obtain a set of the bidding documents. Technical questions concerning this bid should be submitted electronically to Catherine Knisley at catherinek@cityofws.org. End of Question period is 5:00 PM, January 14, 2026. Second question period ends February 2, 2026 at 5 PM.
