Description

Renovation of an educational facility in New Baltimore, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The scope of work includes energy savings performance contract upgrades for boiler(s) and hot water pump(s) at Anchor Bay School District. This work is part of Phase 1, which comprises projects at Great Oaks Elementary, Maconce Elementary, and MacDonald/Admin Building. Mechanical contractors must include controls for the boiler and pump replacements in their base bid. Additional control clarifications are included in the specifications and drawings. Project phasing is specified, with only Phase 1 included in this bid. Equipment schedules are detailed on drawing M006 for each school. Clarification of demolition and new work notes is provided. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 3 and submit this acknowledgment with their bids. The bid form included in Addendum 3 replaces all previous forms. Where any item in this addendum conflicts with previous RFP documents, the requirements of this addendum take precedence. Alternate bids are requested for variable frequency drives (for two pumps at each listed school) and new concrete housekeeping pads in specified sizes. Additional alternates may be provided with descriptions and the corresponding add/deduct amounts as appropriate. Base bids are required for each building listed under Phase 1.
