Sealed bids will be received for the Morrow-Woodville Road Bridge #24-0.12 Rehabilitation Project. Only ODOT prequalified contractors are eligible to submit bids, and pre-qualification must be maintained throughout the contract period. Subcontractors do not require pre-qualification. The prime contractor must perform at least 30 percent of the total original contract price. Each bid must include the full name of each person or company submitting the bid and must be accompanied by a bid bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check equal to ten percent of the bid. A bid guaranty, as specified by Ohio law, is required. Upon execution of a contract, the successful bidder must file a performance bond, and the bid guaranty will be returned. Contractors and subcontractors must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable, and comply with Ohio employment opportunity requirements. Addenda will be posted on the County's website and bidders are responsible for checking for updates. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid, reject all bids, and waive irregularities.
