The project is a housing complex which consists of five two-story apartment buildings and a Community Center. The overall project scope is the construction of seventy-two low-income housing apartments in five separate wood-framed buildings encompassing 87,320 GSF, with brick and cement board siding. It also includes a new Community Center and exterior improvements such as parking, road work, storm drainage system, retention pond, and landscaping. Bid packages to prequalify include: Turnkey Masonry, Structural Steel, Insulation, Painting & Coating, Manufactured Casework, Plumbing, HVAC, and Turnkey Sitework. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must prequalify for specific bid packages including Turnkey Masonry, Structural Steel, Insulation, Painting & Coating, Manufactured Casework, Plumbing, HVAC, and Turnkey Sitework. If not a Section 3 business concern, a plan for involvement of small businesses, businesses owned by women, minorities, and Section 3 businesses and individuals is required.
