Renovation of a municipal facility in Monroe, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 21,000-square-foot municipal facility.

The project is titled City Court Roof Repairs Project for the City of Monroe. It is categorized under roofing and involves roof repairs at the City Court location in Monroe, Ouachita County, LA. No additional scope of work or instructions to bidders are provided in the available text. The City of Monroe is soliciting quotes for a comprehensive roof restoration project at the City Courthouse located at 600 Calypso St, Monroe, LA 71201. The project encompasses a designated roof section of approximately 21,000 square feet and requires a multi-stage SPF (Spray Polyurethane Foam) restoration and silicone coating system. The selected contractor will be responsible for the following phases of work: 1. Surface Preparation and Scarification: The contractor must mechanically scarify the existing coated SPF roofing system to remove all degraded coating and foam. This process must expose and agitate the existing foam substrate to ensure optimal adhesion for new materials. All resulting debris must be collected, bagged, and removed, leaving the roof surface clean and dry per manufacturer requirements. 2. Primer Application: A manufacturer-approved primer specifically designed for scarified SPF substrates must be applied at the required coverage rate. This primer must be allowed to cure according to specifications to ensure a proper chemical bond before the next stage. 3. Spray Polyurethane Foam Installation: Contractor will install an additional 1-inch average thickness of closed-cell spray polyurethane foam over the primed surface. This application is intended to restore uniform slope, increase water resistance, and reinforce the existing roofing system. Installation methods and foam density must comply with all industry and manufacturer standards. 4. Silicone Coating System: A 100% silicone roof coating system must be applied over the new foam in multiple passes to achieve a minimum 28 dry mil thickness (DFT) across the entire area. This coating must fully encapsulate the foam surface, including all seams, transitions, and penetrations.
