Renovation of an educational facility in Toronto, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 0-square-foot, 0-story below grade educational facility.
This Request for Proposal (RFP) invites prospective proponents to submit a proposal indicating their organization’s capability and resources for engineering design and prime consulting services to replace or refurbish the main HVAC equipment located at the University’s Podium (POD) using the University sustainability initiative targets for renovation projects. Construction of the Project will be completed in three phases with the entirety of the currently available $2,500,000 dedicated to Phase 1. The successful proponent shall complete all pre-construction deliverables in accordance with Appendix I as part of Phase 1. Subsequent phases of the Project are contingent on receipt of sufficient funding, performance of the successful proponent, and the University’s future business needs. Deliverables are described in Appendix B. The University intends to execute the Professional Services Agreement for Prime Consultant Services, attached as Appendix E. Bidders must meet mandatory submission requirements, including a Proposal Acknowledgement Form, and score a minimum of 42 points out of 60 in the technical evaluation. Evaluation criteria include company information, relevant experience, project management team, sub-consultants, proposed schedule, and social and sustainable practices.
