The work is to supply and install polymer resins for concrete work, including slab lifting, void filling, leak sealing, soil stabilization, and concrete lifting to prevent slab lifting, void filling, leak sealing, and stabilize weak base soil strata. The process must be clean, precise, fast turnaround, environmentally friendly, non-intrusive, and cost-effective. The quoted product must not cause soil or water contamination due to leaching or off-gassing, must be impervious to water, stabilize the sub-grade, produce no dust or water, insulate, resist freeze-thaw cycling, and be resistant to petroleum products. The contractor must supply literature and specifications on the expanding resin system with the bid, along with a minimum warranty of 10 years on materials, 2 years on resettlement, and one year on labor. Contractors must review asbestos reports, communicate with the designated HRM representative, notify upon job completion, and ensure all applicable training and site cleanup. The agreement is for a three-year period with possible extensions, with no guaranteed purchase amounts. Prices must include all costs and be quoted on a volumetric basis. All bids and forms must be submitted electronically through the specified bidding system, with compliance to all instructions, bid supplements, and required documentation such as references, certifications, and proof of business registration. Bids will be evaluated on social value, performance, country of origin, and cost, with acceptance at the sole discretion of the municipality. The contractor must follow all workplace and safety policies, and abide by all conflict of interest, confidentiality, and ethical conduct provisions.
