Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes replacing approximately 4,770 linear feet of existing 16-inch Force Main, providing all necessary bypass pumping, maintenance of traffic (MOT), restoration of disturbed areas, and pavement repair, for the City of Fort Lauderdale Public Works Department. Bidders must possess a current Underground Utility Contractors License, a General Contractor's license issued by the State of Florida, or any other State or County licenses, certifications, or registrations deemed legally permissible by the City to conduct the required work. Contractors are required to submit evidence of proper licensing with their bid. Any subcontractors employed shall be licensed and insured in accordance with the solicitation, and it is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure all subcontractors' work meets these requirements. Proposers are encouraged to inspect City locations and become familiar with the scope of requirements prior to submitting a proposal. No variation in price or conditions shall be permitted based upon a claim of ignorance. Submission of a proposal indicates the proposer has familiarized themselves with the nature and extent of the work, equipment, materials, and labor required.
