Collin College is seeking qualified proposals for paving additions at the Plano Campus. The project includes site clearing, grading, subgrade modification, rigid paving, and pavement markings, along with stormwater compliance measures. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and services for site clearing and grubbing, and stripping topsoil as required, in accord with provisions of the attached project documents to complete the paving additions and associated site work. All work shall comply with the the attached project documents, engineering specifications, applicable codes, and all federal, state, and local regulations. Question Submission Deadline:January 20, 2026, 12:00pm The District's e-bidding system allows for the submission of questions to the buyer handling this solicitation. This is the preferred method of communicating questions related to the solicitation. "Collin encourages participation in the proposal process by small, minority, veteran and female-owned businesses. Collin does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or veteran status." If submitted in hard copy paper format, submittals shall be placed in a sealed envelope with the solicitation number, title, closing date, and name of the company written on the outside of the sealed envelope. Bidder is requested to provide one (1) original and two (2) copies of all documents. Oral, telegraphic, telephonic, e-mailed, or facsimile submittals shall NOT be accepted. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals or parts of submittals and to award based on the best overall value submitted to the District with consideration given to price and capability to perform in accordance with the standard business practices and requirements of the solicitation. The District reserves the right to waive any technicalities or informalities in the solicitation process deemed to be in the best interests of the District. Bids $25,000 or more - Labor and Material Payment Bond - bond amount to be one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. Bids of $100,000 or more - Performance Bond - bond amount to be one hundred percent (100%) of total contract price. Pending Board of Trustees approval, work is tentatively scheduled to begin in April 2026 and is expected to conclude in July 2026.
