The facility serves as the Town's primary recreation, education, and community gathering space. The building currently relies on aging natural gas boilers and outdated air handling equipment, provides no active cooling, and has limited ventilation capacity. The Town of Hayden is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified Mechanical Engineering firms to provide professional design services for the Hayden Center Geothermal HVAC Upgrade. The selected firm will provide planning phase and design level engineering services to convert the existing Hayden Center heating system from natural gas boilers to a fully electric ground source heat pump system.
