Demolition and renovation of a municipal facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 500,000-square-foot municipal facility; and 400,000-square-foot municipal facility.
Professional Design-Build Services for the Dix Park Buildings Abatement, Demolition and Stabilization Project, including architectural and engineering services necessary to describe, design, and permit the work; labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct or implement the work; project management and construction management services necessary to manage the work; and other related services. The project generally involves evaluating, abating, and stabilizing 20 buildings with an estimated combined total area of nearly 500,000 square feet so that the buildings do not deteriorate or experience significant mold growth during the period between stabilization and the point when the City or partners begin renovating the buildings for adaptive reuse. The project also includes abating and demolishing approximately 17 buildings with an estimated combined area of 400,000 square feet and determining a strategy to address the utility systems that remain. A detailed scope of services is provided in Section 4 of the document. All proposals must be submitted no later than the specified due date and time. Late proposals will not be accepted.
