Description

Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Wilmington, North Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot, one-room playground / park / athletic field.

As of January 20, 2026, this project has been cancelled and plans to rebid in the next one to two months. Construction of a new NCAA Division 1 tennis facility to support competitive play, athlete development, and spectator engagement to be located on the main UNCW campus. The project includes a 5,000 SF building and 6-8 courts. The current project authorization is for Advanced Planning only. The selected firm may be retained through full design and construction at the University's option.
