The project consists of the State Street Siphon Replacement, with approximate quantities for major items of work as follows: 95 linear feet of 6-inch PVC sanitary sewer, 75 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer, 10 cubic yards of asphalt concrete surface course, and 21 cubic yards of asphalt concrete base. A. The Work covered by the Contract Documents comprises construction of State Street Siphon Replacement located at State Street, Harrison, Ohio for the City of Harrison, Owner. B. The Work includes the following major items: 1. The State Street Siphon Replacement includes replacing the existing siphon with a new 6" and 8" PVC double barrel siphon on State Street in Harrison, Ohio. 2. It also includes installing two, 5'-0" diameter access vaults on State Street in Harrison, Ohio. The engineer's estimate for the project is $165,000. Bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the instructions to bidders must be submitted with each bid. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the actual date of opening. The owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids. Bidding documents are to be obtained as instructed, and failure to do so from the specified source may result in missing important addenda or revisions.
