Renovation of a detention facility in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Performance of all tasks specified in the contract documents shall be the responsibility of the contractor unless specified otherwise. Summary of Work Structural 1. Roof deck infill for removed equipment. Architectural 1. Support for smoke exhaust fans. 2. Adding walking pads and ladder to roof. Mechanical: 1. Replacement of the existing Schneider BAS system with Johnson Controls Metasys. Replacement of equipment controls components. 2. Replacement of the existing smoke exhaust fans with new fans sized per the rational analysis. 3. Demolition of the existing supply pressurization fans per the rational analysis. 4. Replacement of all life safety dampers. Electrical: 1. Replacement of the existing fire alarm system, including the FACP, end devices, relays, and wiring. 2. Supporting HVAC replacement NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed bids for Corrections FDC BAS Replacement and Fire Alarm Upgrade (Y26-717) The question and answer module of OpenGov IS being utilized for this solicitation. Timely questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted in accordance with the deadline for questions: Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 5:00 pm EST.
