It is recommended that bidders inspect the roof prior to submitting a proposal. General Requirements - Insurance Required - Warranty Information Required The right is reserved by the Owner to accept any Proposal, to reject any or all Proposals, and to waive any and all irregularities in Proposals. No bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving bids for a period of thirty (30) days. I/We agree to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials as required to remove and replace the Community Center roof as identified in the plans and specifications. Drawings are schematic and are not intended to show every detail of construction. In general, CONTRACTOR is required to remove and dispose of the existing asphalt shingle roof and install a new roof. Roof may be asphalt shingle roof OR concealed fastener style metal roof The CONTRACTOR shall: Remove and dispose of the existing asphalt shingle roof, drip edge, and tar paper to wood sheathing. Protect existing aluminum fascia and gutters from damage. Install new drip edge, ice & water protection, and synthetic underlayment Install new roof: Asphalt Shingle Roof, or Concealed Fastener Metal Roof Install proper flashing at penetrations, clock tower, and dormer windows Install continuous, vented ridge cap All work shall be completed per the Michigan Building Code and other applicable standards. All work shall be neat and professional in appearance and consistent with standard practices for commercial buildings. BIDDER may visit the site during the hours of 8am and 4pm
