Site work for a water / sewer project in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes water main replacement and installation; water service line replacement; fire hydrant replacement; surface restoration and all other work identified in the contract documents. The work includes all materials, equipment, labor, necessary apparatuses, and other miscellaneous labor and materials as contemplated by the contract documents. Bids are requested for the "2026 Water System Improvements Project, Contract No. 2025-13: General Construction" on a unit price basis. All bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. A performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the estimated contract price, shall be required from the successful bidder. A non-collusion affidavit is also required. Bidders cannot change or add to the wording of any bidding documents. Unauthorized conditions or changes may cause rejection of the bid. All questions regarding bidding documents must be submitted via PennBid Bonfire. Capital Region Water reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive defects or irregularities, and accept any bid deemed in its best interest. The project includes requirements for Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation, and PA Prevailing Wage rate requirements apply to the project.
