The work on this project consists of fabricating, furnishing, and erecting new overhead mounted signs, as well as refurbishing existing overhead structures on an on-call basis. Also included is the removal and disposal of signs that are being replaced. Signs are located on various interstate and controlled access routes, with a majority of the initial signs located along the Grand Strand area of Horry County. The Director of Traffic Engineering will release specific locations to the Contractor by issuance of work orders after the Contract has been awarded.
