Remodeling of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Sumner, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The work specified in this Section consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the demolition, disposal, and replacement of flooring throughout the Sumner Senior Center, located at 15506 62nd St Ct E, Sumner, WA 98390. Construction quality shall be professional and equal to that normally expected at the journeyman level from all trades utilized. Periodic and final inspections during and at the completion of the project shall ensure that quality. Construction of an aesthetically pleasing overall appearance of the finished surfaces is a standard for this project. On a daily basis, all debris generated by the contractor shall be cleaned and organized in a professional manner. The contractor shall protect existing finishes, clean up affected areas, remove equipment and debris promptly, and follow best-practice site safety measures. The Contractor shall: o Remove and dispose of existing flooring. o Furnish and install new carpet tile, sheet vinyl, LVT, cove base, heat-welded seams, and resilient transitions as indicated in the project drawings. o Perform all work in compliance with all applicable City, County, State, and Federal laws, including prevailing wage requirements, WSST, bonding, and insurance requirements. o Provide a 10-year or greater warranty covering all labor and materials.
