Remodeling of a clubhouse / community center in Sumner, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a clubhouse / community center.
Provide complete replacement of two operable panel partitions at the Sumner Senior Center, located at 15506 62nd St Ct E, Sumner, WA 98390 (Parcel No. 0520193200). Work includes removal and disposal of existing operable partitions and track systems, verification of field dimensions, furnishing and installing new operable panel partitions and all associated hardware, track, attachments, and accessories necessary for a fully functional system. All work shall be completed in accordance with manufacturer requirements, industry best practices, and all applicable codes and standards. Work shall commence within ten calendar days after execution of the contract and the issuance of a notice to proceed; and shall be completed within forty-five working days. All submitted bids shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit (certified or cashier's check or approved bond) payable to the City of Sumner in an amount not less than five percent of the amount of the proposal price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract with the City and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Sumner. The successful bidder will be required to conform to the wage requirements prescribed by the federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts which requires that all laborers and mechanics employed by contractors and subcontractors performing on contracts funded in whole or in part by SRF appropriations in excess of $2,000 pay their laborers and mechanics not less than the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits, as determined by the Secretary of Labor, for corresponding classes of laborers and mechanics employed on similar projects in the area. It is the bidder's responsibility to check for addenda and other new documents online. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Cost estimate budget is $60,000 to $80,000.
