Bid proposals are requested for the construction of a Junior High Building in Maynard, Arkansas. Bids must be submitted as sealed proposals labeled for the Maynard School District, New Jr. High School. Bids must adhere to the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual and include a Surety Bid Bond equal to 5% of the bid amount. The selected contractor is to provide Performance and Payment Surety Bonds for the full contract value, with the associated cost included in the bid. Sales tax is to be included as the School District is not tax exempt. Bids must be lump sum for each section of work; segregated bids are not allowed. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid date. The Owner will award the contract to the lowest and best qualified bidder, but reserves the right to approve all sub-contractors, waive irregularities, and reject any or all bids. Work will include site improvements, interior partitions, interior finishes, full mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, fire sprinklers, fire alarm and notification system, low voltage/data systems, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
