The purpose is to obtain bid submissions for the supply of asphalt emulsions for the Municipality in conjunction with planned capital improvements of roads within the Municipality of Middlesex Centre in accordance with the specified tender. The contract is for a period of one year with an option for three additional one-year renewals. The supplier is required to provide daily deliveries of approximately 32,000 to 64,000 litres of HP200P asphalt emulsion, delivered in insulated tankers at a specified temperature, with deliveries generally arriving at 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or as otherwise directed. Deliveries are to various locations within the Municipality, totaling approximately 450,000 to 550,000 litres per season. The supplier must ensure the product meets industry standards, manage quality assurance as required, and address delivery, storage, and safety requirements. All shipments must comply with applicable regulations and contract specifications, and the Municipality reserves rights regarding price adjustment, quality assurance, and acceptance of materials. The supplier must also provide necessary documentation, insurance, WSIB clearance, and comply with all health, safety, and accessibility requirements. Bidders must submit their bids online through bids&tenders by the specified closing time. All required documentation, including a Letter of Agreement to Bond or Guarantee and Safety Data Sheets, must be submitted with the bid. Insurance, health and safety policies, Declaration of Accessibility Compliance, and references may be required upon award.
