The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work to investigate, locate, and perform localized repairs of multiple roof leaks throughout the solid waste material recycling facility, including associated flashing and waterproofing, to restore watertight conditions in accordance with industry standards at the Del Norte Regional Recycling and Transfer Station. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of ten percent of the Total Bid Price. Successful bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the Total Contract Price upon contract award. All work must be completed within ninety working days of the City's Notice to Proceed, and liquidated damages of $250 per calendar day will be assessed for work remaining incomplete beyond the deadline. Bidders must possess a valid California Class C-39 Roofing Contractor's License at the time of submitting the bid and a current city business license at the time of contract award. All work is subject to California State prevailing wage requirements, DIR registration, and compliance monitoring.
