Renovation of a municipal facility in Brea, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, supplies, tools, travel, equipment, permits, and incidentals necessary to remove and legally dispose of existing roofing insulation material and install approximately 2,300 square feet of fiberglass batt insulation. Proposed Award Date (estimate) 02/10/2026 Payment Bond (ADM-2009) Requirement: If the successful bidder's bid is $25,000 or more, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement. The Payment Bond is due prior to the start date of work. No work may commence without receipt of a valid Payment Bond. Question Deadline 01/20/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Bidders must submit their questions via e-mail to Kae.Saechin@dot.ca.gov. Written questions must include: the individual's name, firm name, e-mail address and must reference IFB No. 12A2338. Written responses to all questions will be collectively compiled and posted, as an Addendum to electronically. Bidder shall have at time of bid submittal, continually thereafter, and for the duration of the Agreement, a current and valid C-2, Insulation and Acoustical Contractor license, or a Class B, General Building Contractor license with a C-2, Insulation and Acoustical Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB) for the type of work to be performed. The DVBE Participation Program applies, and a three percent (3%) participation is required for this IFB. The DVBE Incentive Program may also apply to this IFB. See Section D, Special Programs in this IFB for requirements.
