The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform elevator maintenance and repair services for 21 on-site elevators. Services must comply with the latest approved edition of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) A17.1/CSA B44-2019 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Elevator Code and Inspectors Manual (ANSI A17.2), as well as all other applicable codes including National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements (OSHA 1917.116, OSHA 1926.552, and OSHA 1910.147). The contractor will be responsible for ensuring all work meets these standards and regulations. The scope includes maintenance and repair of various elevator types and manufacturers, including Schindler electric passenger and service elevators, Otis electric passenger elevators, Dover hydraulic passenger elevators, and Global-Tardif hydraulic elevators. A total of 21 elevators located throughout multiple wings and buildings of the facility will be serviced under a base year plus four option years firm-fixed-price contract. Work is anticipated to begin in calendar year 2026, and a site visit may be included in the official solicitation. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
