Suppliers are invited to submit proposals to enter into a contract to complete the Project as described in the documents. The Proposal amount shall include all costs incurred, excluding Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), but including all other taxes and duties. All prices must be in Canadian funds. If selected, the Supplier must comply with the City of Vaughan’s Supplier Code of Conduct, all applicable laws including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and accessibility requirements as per the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). Suppliers must bid on all items listed in the Pricing Schedule. The Proposal must remain open for acceptance, and prices remain firm and unchanged. If the successful Supplier fails to execute the contract or provide required documents, the City may consider the Proposal abandoned and exercise its rights. The Supplier must not be an American Supplier as defined and must comply with all privacy and information requirements, providing specific disclosures if applicable. Accessible formats for all reports, presentations, and communications must be provided upon request. Suppliers must provide all documentation and certifications required, including proof of insurance and occupational health and safety certification if applicable to the project dollar value. All addenda must be acknowledged in the Proposal submission. The selected Supplier will be expected to enter into a Customer-Supplier Agreement and deliver all products and/or services as approved by the Customer. No legal relationship or obligation is created regarding procurement until execution of the agreement.
