Contract - General Construction Work includes obtaining all required permits, pavement planing, pavement rehabilitation, new pavement areas, earthwork, drainage structures, installation of underdrains, seeding, mulching and other ancillary items required to improve existing pavement at four (4) sites within the School District. The work also includes one alternate for additional pavement improvements as indicated in the bid documents. Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically or in person at AA Blueprint, 2757 Gilchrist Road, Akron, OH 44305, 1.800.821.3700, www.aaplanroom.com upon payment of $60.00 for the "2026 Pavement Improvements Program" (plus shipping and handling if required). Payment shall be made to AA Blueprint. Bidding Documents are not returnable for refund. Bidders shall obtain bidding documents from AA Blueprint to ensure that they receive all addenda and communications. Copley-Fairlawn City Schools reserves the right to reject the proposal of any bidder not registered with AA Blueprint as a plan holder of official Bidding Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty, in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each bidder shall submit either a bid guarantee bond in the amount of 100%, OR a certified check in the amount of 10% of the proposal, made payable to the Copley-Fairlawn School City School District. Bids must be presented in a sealed envelope marked "2026 Pavement Improvements Program". The City Schools reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids. Bonds must be executed on the forms provided in the bidding and contract documents. Standard bonding documents will not be acceptable.
