1. Base Bid Item: At the Dominion water plant, the Contractor must demolish and remove the existing automatic transfer switch, weather head, service pole, main breaker, and other items indicated in the specifications or plans; furnish, deliver, and install all items indicated in the specifications or plans, including but not limited to an automatic transfer switch, additional motor control center components (same manufacturer as existing), lighting, conduit and feeders, conductors, electrical service equipment, mini power zone, equipment support rack, electrical canopy, electrical service; and provide all other goods and services necessary for or incidental to a complete, fully functional, and connected electrical system at the Dominion water plant, except the CenterPoint Item and the Add Alternate Item described below. 2. CenterPoint Item (Allowance For Reimbursement): Contractor must arrange and pay for disconnection and reconnection of power by CenterPoint Energy in coordination with other work, subject to the actual charge for such services imposed by CenterPoint Energy and paid by Contractor, for which the Owner will reimburse upon submittal of paid invoice(s); all CenterPoint accounts must be in the name of Owner. The price shown is only an estimate, with the amount to be paid being the actual charge. 3. Add Alternate Item: If ordered in writing by the Engineer, Contractor must furnish, deliver, and install new conduit duct bank from the new automatic transfer switch to the existing generator (with new conductors provided as part of the Base Bid Item), in accordance with the specifications and plans. Contractor must either intercept the existing conduit. Generally, bids must be signed, sealed, and physically submitted at Owner's Office.
