Identified existing deficient curb and gutter sections will be removed, and the installation of compacted flexbase, new curb and gutter, new driveway portions will be installed. Work subsidiary to the curb and gutter replacement, include mobilization and revegetation. The bid will be awarded to the Lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications. Contractor is to: o Remove and Replace 2500 LF of existing curb and gutter per the attached exhibits and City of Taylor Detail PV007 Sawcut, subsidiary to concrete removal, at identified locations and haul off existing concrete material. o Remove and replace 60 SY of driveway gutter pan per the attached exhibits and City of Taylor Detail PV005 Driveway gutter pan extends from edge of asphalt two feet towards the ROW line. Sawcut, subsidiary to concrete removal, at identified locations and haul off existing concrete material. o Remove existing base material and replace with 1200 SY of 8" compacted flex base from edge of asphalt to 2' behind back of proposed curb. Removal of existing base subsidiary to install flex base bid item. Mobilization and revegetation are subsidiary to the concrete curb and gutter installation. All concrete work shall follow the City of Taylor Standard Details, attached to this bid document and Engineering Manual. Traffic control will be set up the City of Taylor Public Work Department.
