Lacombe County requires support services to prepare for road projects scheduled in 2027. In addition, the County has identified a need to pre-emptively prepare for forecasted road projects scheduled for 2028 to 2030. Proposed environmental support will exclude wetland assessments and permitting, as the County has a Wetland Authenticating Professional on staff. Lacombe County requires the support of qualified professionals to fulfil all aquatic and wildlife assessments, planning to forecast implications under the Public Lands Act and Historical Resources Act, and to ensure regulatory compliance with all project-relevant environmental legislation. The Successful Proponent shall provide certified copies of Professional Liability Insurance- Errors and Omissions coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000 on a 'per-occurrence' basis. The policy shall provide coverage of all claims occurring during the term of the policy notwithstanding the fact that the claim may be asserted subsequent to the expiration of the policy for a minimum of three (3) years. Proof of WCB coverage and Partnerships in Injury Reduction Certificate of Recognition (COR/SECOR) or alternative (ISO 45001).
