Tooele County Parks and Recreation is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed, bonded, insured, and experienced painting contractors to provide surface preparation and painting services for the four (4) buildings that comprise the Energy Solutions Aquatics Center Complex . The intent of this RFP is to select a contractor capable of delivering high-quality, industrial grade painting suitable for both exterior and interior applications in a high-use aquatic environment. Note that attendance of the in-person site visit is required in order for contractor's proposal to be considered. Question Deadline 01/22/2026 at 11:00 PM MT Online Portal The project consists of the preparation and painting of all exterior metal surfaces on the four buildings within the ESAC Complex, as well as corresponding interior metal components, including but not limited to doors, door frames, window frames, and related metal elements. We will also be accepting bids to paint the interior of three of the buildings as an alternative. Each building alternative will be priced separately. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with this RFP Each proposal must include the following- Perform comprehensive surface preparation and painting of metal surfaces. Use industrial-standard paint systems designed specifically for metal surfaces. Ensure coatings are suitable for both exterior exposure and interior high-humidity environments, such as those found in aquatic settings. Base bid: - Preparation and painting of all exterior metal surfaces on the four buildings within the ESAC Complex, as well as corresponding interior metal components, including but not limited to doors, door frames, window frames, and related metal elements. Alternate bid: - Painting of the full interiors of the following three buildings. Price each building separately. Building A - Men's Locker room and storage. Building B - Women's and Family locker room, lifeguard room Building C - Offices and concessions Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Three (3) examples of projects which demonstrate qualifications for providing the Project Scope stated in this RFP. A list of any subconsultants or subcontractors proposed to be included in work outlined in the Project Scope. Provide a description of their previous work history. Any current and applicable certifications of the staff to be assigned to this project.
