Hillsdale Community Schools is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the purchase, delivery, and installation of playground equipment, including site preparation, safety surfacing, and ADA-accessible components. The selected vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the playground installation, including but not limited to: Playground Equipment Trailblazer playground structure or approved equivalent Swing set system including: Belt swing seats with coated chain Steel arch swing structure with add-a-bay extensions One ADA-accessible swing seat Site Preparation Excavation and leveling of playground area (up to approximately 2,800 square feet) Playground area must be less than a 2% slope prior to installation Surfacing Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) playground safety surfacing ASTM-compliant materials Delivery and installation included Borders & Accessibility 12-inch playground border timbers with spikes ADA-compliant half-ramp system compatible with playground borders Installation & Logistics Delivery, unloading, and installation of all playground equipment Dumpster service during installation Freight and shipping coordination for all materials Vendor Requirements Vendor must be experienced in commercial playground installation All equipment must meet current ASTM and CPSC playground safety standards Installation must comply with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes Assumptions & Exclusions Site will have reasonable access for equipment and materials Permits and inspections are not included unless specified in bid response Customer will locate private utilities prior to work No drainage work or site restoration beyond the playground footprint Vendor is not responsible for damage to existing playground equipment
