This project consists of approximately 3,300 linear feet of 8-inch and 270 linear feet of 12-inch water main through the town of Kingsbury. The project includes several right-of-way crossings to be installed per Guadalupe County and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) utility installation requirements. Approximately 200 feet of pipe will be installed across Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) property. Other project components include gate valves, fire hydrants, air release valves, tie-ins to existing water mains and reconnecting water meters. Sealed proposals must be submitted on CivCast only. All questions about the Bidding Documents must be submitted in writing on CivCast at least seven calendar days prior to the opening date. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful respondent will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The project will be awarded to the highest scoring respondent based on set evaluation criteria. A Respondent's failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. Proposals may be held for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and evaluating respondent's qualifications prior to the contract award.
