The City of Clemson is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the 2025 Tottie's Place Connector Project. The proposed scope of work includes approximately 600 LF of 10 FT wide multi-use trail connecting the lower portion of the parking lot in Ashley Dearing Park to the parking lot in Totties Place Park. The trail construction consists of three types of construction to account for potential unsuitable soils. The project also includes the installation of new drainage structures, a 15' wide ditch, and permanent stabilization through sod and seed & straw to restore the area after construction. The scope of services is outlined clearly in the drawings, construction specifications and schedule of values included herewith and/or herein. The project will be administered and managed by the City of Clemson. The contractor chosen to complete the work will be responsible for providing all materials and labor needed to complete the job. It is the contractor's responsibility to visit the site and review all construction plans. The project does include federal funding and thus federal requirements do apply. This project is being partially funded by an RTP (Recreational Trails Program) Grant and the scope of work must have Substantial Completion done and approved by May 15, 2026.
