CMC will attempt to answer all relevant questions submitted to this email address prior to the question deadline in the timeline above. Colorado Mountain College's Spring Valley Campus located at 3000 County Road 114, Glenwood Springs, CO is requesting quotes from qualified firms and/or individuals to furnish and install three new Bosch WW420 (or similar) water-to-water heat pumps in Sopris Hall. This project involves the removal of existing equipment, re-piping of associated systems, and integration of the new heat pumps into the building's controls working with Rocky Mountain ATS. The work will ensure reliable heating and cooling performance while maintaining compatibility with the existing ground source and building water systems. o Equipment Supply & Installation o Furnish and install three Bosch WW420 (or similar) water-to-water heat pumps. o Deliver new heat pumps to the site, set them in the designated mechanical room, and ensure proper placement. o System Preparation o Drain down the building fluid and store for reuse. o Recover refrigerant from the three existing heat pumps and dispose of it in accordance with environmental regulations. o Disconnect all water piping and electrical connections from the existing units. o Demolition & Removal o Remove the existing heat pumps from the mechanical room. o Dispose of old equipment in compliance with applicable codes and standards. o Piping & Valve Work o Dismantle piping at the rear of the heat pumps back to the existing isolation valves. o Re-pipe the ground source and building water connections with new isolation valves, check valves, and strainers to ensure system integrity and serviceability. o System Refill o Refill the system with the recovered building fluid and bleed air from the system. o Start up the new heat pumps, verify proper operation, and program Bacnet cards (work with owner and Rocky Mountain ATS). Target Award Date (Subject to Change) FEBRUARY 19, 2026 4:00 p.m. CMC makes no guarantee that an award will be made as a result of this RFP, and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any formalities or technical inconsistencies, or delete any item/requirements from this RFP or resulting contract when deemed to be in CMC's best interest.
