As of February 11, 2026, per Addendum 2: The deadline to receive proposals shall be extended to a date to be determined. The Architect will issue a revision to the plan for the restroom building along with a revised due date. Please check back regularly for further instructions The project involves renovations to Al Rollins Park at 521 Threadmill Rd, Dalton, GA 30720. The project includes re-grading of the existing baseball fields, installation and upkeep of soil and erosion control measures, irrigation, new sod, new in-field material, fencing, a new pre-cast restroom building, and all other materials and labor required for a complete project. Contractors must furnish all materials, labor, and equipment for the construction. Contractors submitting proposals are required to register with the City's Vendor Registry and obtain all necessary contract documents. Proposals must strictly comply with all requirements set forth in the Instructions to Proposers and must include the completed Proposal Form, responses to all questions, a fully executed Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed lump sum contract price (exclusive of any alternates and unit prices), and a completed E-Verify form. All contractors must visit the project site and familiarize themselves with local conditions. The City intends to award the contract to the responsible and responsive contractor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the City, taking specific evaluation factors into consideration.
