**As of March 24, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed proposals are requested for the General Construction Contract for Pratt Willert Community Center Year 50 Facilities Improvements, located at 422 Pratt St, Buffalo, NY 14204. Proposals must be delivered to the Commissioner of Public Works, Parks & Streets, City of Buffalo, 502 City Hall, Buffalo, NY 14202. Bidders are responsible for delivery before the bid opening and must use approved methods for submission. The bid opening is held via video/phone conference. Contract documents are available for viewing and ordering online, with a non-refundable fee per set. MWBE Compliance and Section 3 requirements associated with HUD funding are to be reviewed at the pre-bid meeting. The contract includes Build America, Buy America Act requirements, meaning all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the United States unless an approved waiver is obtained. Bidders are required to submit certification of non-collusion and, prior to contract award, must state their commitment to achieving a minority workforce goal of 25%, a women workforce goal of 5%, and business utilization goals for minority and women business enterprises of 25% and 5%, respectively. Bidders must also provide a statement on apprenticeship training and workforce diversification programs. Failure to comply may result in rejection of the bid. The City of Buffalo reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities.
