The Township of Hardyston, a municipal corporation in the County of Sussex and the State of New Jersey, having its offices at 149 Wheatsworth Road, Hardyston, New Jersey, 07419, through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq., is soliciting proposals from architects licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Architects for design services for the Hardyston Recreation Complex located on Wheatsworth Road, Hardyston, NJ. Sealed proposals should be received by Carrine Kaufer, Township Manager of the Township of Hardyston, in the Township Offices located at 149 Wheatsworth Road, Hardyston, NJ 07419 by no later than 12:00 p.m. on January 30, 2026 Copies of the RFP may be obtained by emailing CKAUFER@hardyston.com or in person at the Hardyston Municipal Building, 149 Wheatsworth Road, Hamburg, NJ 07419. Successful applicants will be required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. (N.J.A.C. 17-27) (Equal Employment Opportunity) and N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, et seq. (New Jersey Business Registration) N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 (Business Entity Disclosure).All those interested in submitting proposals should review the request for proposals and submit all documentation requested. The Township reserves the right to waive any and all informalities or to reject any Proposal that is not in the best interests of the Township. An award may be made to the respondent whose Proposal is the most advantageous to the Township, price and other factors considered, as set forth in the RFP. All awards are subject to approval by the Hardyston Township Council.
