The work includes the successful implementation of the Landscape Bed Maintenance Program for landscape islands in and landscape areas adjacent to Manchester Rd, Route 100, Route 109, and Strecker Rd. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with the Safety Program Training requirements of Section 292.675 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri. The City will award contracts based on the lowest responsible bids and may select multiple contractors to address diverse maintenance requirements. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or deficiencies, negotiate terms or prices, and/or award the contract to other than the lowest cost bidder. All requests for clarifications on bidding documents must be received in writing at least one week prior to the bid opening. Businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.
