The work consists of the construction of a stone gravity retaining wall, stone wall repair, sidewalk replacement, and riprap placement west of Canyon Falls Big Sky Park. The project involves the reconstruction of approximately 720 square feet of gravity retaining wall, 150 square feet of gravity retaining surface repair, 4,800 square feet of sidewalk replacement, and 240 square yards of concrete riprap. The improvements include, but are not limited to, preparation of right-of-way, traffic control, erosion control, gravity retaining wall replacement/repair, sidewalk reconstruction, concrete riprap, stone riprap, and storm drain improvements. Bidders are required to submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee to enter into a contract with the Owner within fifteen days of the Notice of Award. The security must be payable to the Town of Northlake in the amount of five percent of the bid submitted. Contractors are required to execute the contract, bonds, and certificates of insurance on the forms provided, and must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety days from the opening date.
