The Department Will Not Hold Retention on This Project. Per Utah State Code 13-8-5 (1) Prime Contractors Cannot Hold Retention. Refer to Utah Code 13-8-5 (1) for More Information. Wage Rates: Apply Engineer's Estimate: Greater than $6M but less than $10M Mandatory Prequalification Required (Qualified Health Insurance Required) The Right to Reject Any or All Bids is Reserved. As required, a contractor's license must be obtained from the Utah Department of Commerce to work on UDOT projects as defined from the Division of Professional Licensing. Prequalification of bidders is required. Prior to submitting a bid, the bidder must have on file with the Utah Department of Transportation a completed and approved contractor's application for prequalification. Department processing time is 20 working days from receipt of properly executed documentation. Project Plans Cannot Be Downloaded or Printed From the Website Unless Your Company is Registered With Udot. Go to Udot's Website to Register.
